How to play
The goal
Find the enemy flag and strike it — capturing the enemy flag wins on the spot. But careful: your own flag cannot fight. Walk it into an enemy and you lose.
Your army
14 warriors on a 7×6 board: four each with rock, paper and scissors, plus a flag and a trap. You see your own weapons — your opponent does not. Weapons are revealed in combat, and stay revealed.
Moving & fighting
One square per turn — forward, back or sideways. No diagonals, no jumps. Step onto an occupied square and it is a fight: rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper, paper beats rock. The loser leaves the board.
A tie? Duel!
If both pieces carry the same weapon, the board freezes and you both pick a new weapon, fast and hidden — until someone wins. Hesitate and chance decides for you.
The trap
One square of your setup is a trap: whoever steps in is out — the trap stays put and never moves. Placed well it guards your flag; once sprung, its position is known.
Fog of war — guaranteed
The game server tells no one what a hidden piece is — not even your own device. The information only leaves the server in combat, so cheating is technically impossible, not merely forbidden.

Quick match: one click pairs you with the next person waiting.
Private room: open a room and share the five-character code. Browser or Android app — you end up on the same board.
Single player: four bot levels from easy to expert — the expert thinks three moves ahead and learns your duel habits.
Leaderboard & stats: these need a free account — guests play along, but do not appear in the ranking.

Is Rock Paper Reign free?
Yes. You can play in your browser for free, with no download.
Do I need an account?
No. Guests can play every mode. A free account is only needed for the leaderboard and for keeping your rating across devices.
How do I play with a friend?
Open a private room and send the code to your friend. You end up on the same board, whether you use a browser or the Android app.
What happens on a tie?
If both pieces carry the same weapon, you both quickly pick a new one in a hidden duel until someone wins.
Can my opponent see my pieces?
No. The server only reveals a piece when it fights, so hidden pieces cannot be read from the browser.
